COVID-19 News
Dear valued patient,
We are continuing to assess the situation with the coronavirus and keep our patients informed. In light of concerns surrounding the pandemic and recommendations from the CDC, we have reopened as of May 11, 2020 with various precautions in place.
We are seeing patients on a scheduled basis only to allow time to sanitize patient areas in between appointments. For the time being, we have suspended walk-in hours to better control the flow of traffic in the office and protect our more vulnerable patients.
Dr. Gibson is reviewing each patient’s status as we reschedule to minimize the impact on your hearing ability.
We ask that all patients and their accompanying parties wear masks inside our office. We will be wearing masks, gloves and other forms of personal protection equipment for all appointments. We are limiting additional guests to necessary caretakers and only one additional person/family member for each patient visit.
Telehealth sessions are available and require phone access at a minimum and computer access and email in cases where a video telehealth session is desired. Many situations can be addressed via videoconferencing. We are seeing new patients via this method if desired and can even obtain some limited test findings via our online hearing screener at www.lakemurrayhearing.com.
You may contact us by phone 803-470-2621, by the contact us page of this website, or via Facebook.
By contacting us, we can determine the best course of action for your specific situation.
Hearing devices requiring repair or that are in the repair process, may be picked up or dropped off by leaving a message on our phone system.
We look forward to seeing you back in our office soon.
Kindly,
Dr. Todd Gibson and staff
